Functionality I’d like to see in all email clients
1) That they automatically check the content of emails you forward, if they have already been forwarded more than once they show a warning “You do realise the email you’re forwarding is almost certainly a hoax, don’t you? Do you really want to forward it and look like an idiot?”.
2) When forwarding an email to more than two people, by entering addresses in the ‘to’ or ‘cc’ fields, a warning is shown saying “You are about to expose your contacts’ emails to multiple people, are you really that inconsiderate, or should I move them to the ‘bcc’ field for you?”
They could possibly phrase things more politely.
An automatic check against Snopes would be good too.
