When I started using the Internet
I started using the internet whilst in 6th Form College, which would have been around 1994-1996 kind of time. Back then I used to post on a discussion board called ‘The World Wide Wibble’ (or something like that) where there used to be a user on their called ‘Troll’ (apparently it was his real name) and for years afterwards I assumed the term ‘Trolling’ was based on his argumentative posting style.
