If I had easy access to a helicopter, I’d fly to Lisbon (Portugal) this weekend
Though I would feel rather guilty about the CO2 footprint of such an frivolous activity!
Loved it last time I went, and it should be a more reasonable temperature at this time of year. It’s a really great city, lots of lovely old buildings, and winding streets, and the cakes……ooooooh the cakes……
I was really quite surprised how nice it was when we first went, as I’d never really heard anyone else talk about it, so didn’t really know what to expect. I don’t understand why it isn’t a more popular destination for city visits. Perhaps it’s because it’s so hilly - it does have lots of very steep streets.
