TV Programmes now available from the UK iTunes Music Store

Yes, Mac users in the UK can now pay to watch TV programmes like Lost and Ugly Betty on their computers, rather than having to suffer with viewing them for free like their Windows using friends!

Hey, and they’re available at a lower resolution than standard television broadcasts!!!!

Yeah, so this isn’t really the best news in the world, where’s our BBC iPlayer? where is our Channel4:OD? and where is our <whatever SKYs offering is called>???

However, unlike our windows using friends, we can take our TV programmes with us on our iPods, or watch them in the comfort of our lounge on our Apple TVs (though, can you do that with a Windows Media Extender? - whatever that may be).

Anyway, sarcasm aside, I am pretty excited about this! and the complete 3rd series of Lost does cost a bit less than on DVD (well, unless I was to import the DVD - then it’s the same).

Now we just need HD content, and more UK (ie: BBC and Channel4) produced content.

Oh, yeah, here’s a link
