Update from Ben Goldacre on the backlash caused by The British Chiropractic Association suing Simon Singh.  Like many others I was oblivious to the fact that chiropractic was quackery before this whole thing blew up - I’d even considered visiting a chiropractor, so really I’m very very grateful that the BCA took this action thus alerting me to the dangers of chiropractic.

So, this new live “Science” show on the BBC next week that they keep going on about, I know I shouldn’t prejudge it, but from the look of it it is as much a science program as ‘Total Wipeout’ is athletics or as ‘Deal or no Deal’ is economics.
